Train LDN TEAM
From a young age, Danny’s passion for football and sports was evident. This passion led him to study Sports Science in 2009, followed by a master’s degree, deepening his understanding of the human body and its capabilities.
In 2012, Danny qualified as a personal trainer, using his extensive knowledge to help the professionals of Canary Wharf lead more active, pain-free, and healthier lives. His journey in the fitness industry began in earnest in 2013 at Virgin Active Canary Wharf, where he rapidly progressed to become a Master Personal Trainer. With a fully booked schedule of 10-15 sessions per day, Danny balanced his thriving career with his love for football.
However, as he observed a decline in industry standards, Danny decided to take matters into his own hands. He founded his own personal training studios to employ and develop the best trainers, ensuring high standards and exceptional service.
Train Canary is his fourth studio, offering premium group personal training with top-tier trainers, and aims to build a like-minded, fun, and friendly fitness community in Canary Wharf. Beyond his studios, Danny is also a director of an online nutrition site and is establishing his own personal training academy to significantly enhance the quality of personal training across the UK.
Danny’s commitment to excellence and his vision for a healthier, more active community continues to drive his success and the success of those around him.
Lizi grew up with a love of dance and movement. The gym and training began as a gateway to perform better and improve other aspects of life, but she soon fell in love with seeing progress both mentally and physically. After a performance background, leaving dance and exploring running, kickboxing, and lifting, she became hugely passionate about the benefits of strength training.
Lizi loves helping people learn to lift and feel comfortable and confident in the gym; with experience and qualifications from physique goals to pre-natal exercise, to general fitness and improving quality of life. She strives to help you learn why and how to train, and make nutrition and lifestyle choices, that support your goals.
She is driven by wanting others to realise their potential and how good they can feel and firmly believes that by doing so, you will improve all aspects of life.
George started out his passion for fitness at the age of 14 when he started training for the British Army. He developed a love for long distance running and weight training which prepared him for the Army’s hardest physical test, P-Company which he passed at the age of 17.
Once George left the Army he began his career coaching in London and quickly adapted to his new life outside of the military, helping others realise their fitness goals and further developing together.
George has competed in Brazilian jui-jitsu, Ultra-marathons and IRONMAN triathlon! He’s even ventured to Thailand to get out of his comfort zone and learn techniques from grappling to train Muay-Thai! He has experience in many different areas of fitness, showing his dedication and passion for continual growth in his career.
George is always enthusiastic, positive and supportive and aims to bring a great energy into any room he’s in!
Rose began her journey with dance, dedicating 12 years to professional practice and competition. She later studied Choreography and Movement Therapy in Latvia, graduating successfully in 2017.
Upon moving to the UK, she developed a passion for fitness, leading her to create popular Dance Fitness classes blending different dance styles and music.
Rose expanded her expertise by becoming a Level 3 Personal Trainer and a Level 3 GP Exercise Referral specialist. Her work at Virgin Active and completion of Continuing Professional Development courses further honed her skills. She has witnessed remarkable transformations in her clients, from weight management to improved strength and overall well-being.
Rose advocates for a balanced lifestyle and helps others find harmony between health-conscious living and enjoying life’s pleasures.
